At Navsarjan Xavier’s Cell for Human Development, we believe that meaningful change begins with deep understanding. Over the years, our team has conducted extensive field-based research, documentation, and analytical studies focusing on some of the most pressing urban issues—particularly in the slums of Surat. Our work explores the lives, challenges, and resilience of slum children, migrant workers, and marginalized urban communities.
These publications reflect our commitment to evidence-based advocacy, inclusive development, and participatory research. By sharing these insights, we aim to inform policy, inspire action, and deepen awareness about urban poverty, migration, and social justice in Gujarat and beyond.
We invite you to explore our research, reports, and documentation—each rooted in lived realities and guided by our mission of “human development with dignity.”
